Community

Relationships and Networks

Morrow Builders maintains partnerships with all spheres of government, regional development organisations, local businesses and community groups to help provide strategic and targeted opportunities for continued regional development long after our work is completed. Our policy is to engage and support local services, suppliers and personnel in all of our projects.

Training and Career Advancement

During projects, our local employees have the opportunity to undertake further learning, practise essential workplace safety and daily habits, be exposed to a wider variety of tools and machinery and be part of a positive and rewarding working environment. We utilise the RAMP (Intrinsic Motivation) Framework – Relatedness, Autonomy, Mastery, Purpose – in all of our projects. In addition, Morrow Builders maintains our commitment to Indigenous employment through our Trades Mentoring Program. We assist local Indigenous people to develop their skills, grow their knowledge and enjoy a valuable experience working with our qualified tradesmen.

Part of the Community

Morrow Builders is committed to promoting positive attitudes about health and wellbeing and we aim to contribute to the local community during all projects. We encourage all personnel to engage in sporting and cultural events while on community. We believe in having a positive impact and building relationships with the community, as well as promoting cultural awareness.

Indigenous Workforce

Morrow Builders partners with Indigenous communities and organizations to arrange the employment of local Indigenous people for our projects. We have a dedicated Indigenous Engagement Coordinator who assists us in implementing our tradesmen mentoring program, as well as cultural awareness training. We see much value in assisting local Indigenous employees to develop their skills, grow their skill sets and knowledge and enjoy a valuable experience working with our qualified tradesmen on site. We work with local training providers, local contractors and local Elders to provide a rewarding working and training environment to each local employee. We are committed to the growth of our Indigenous apprentices within their trade, assisting them to undertake further learning, practice essential workplace safety habits and be part of our team.

Unique Conditions

Our project management team successfully deliver projects in some of the most remote areas of the Territory. Morrow Builders overcome extreme conditions encountered when working in remote areas and find simple solutions that suit both our clients and our company.
